Why sales?
Selling is essential.
Selling is vital for the growth of any business, so you can see why sales training is all important!
Sales accounts for 10% of all jobs in the UK, that's over 2.5 million people. Yet the UK Commission for Emploment & Skills highlight that sales skills are "lacking" in the workforce and sales jobs are among the "highest vacancy rates". That means businesses are failing!
It is my belief therefore, that sales training isn't only necessary for those already in our industry,
but should be available within schools and colleges! We hear so much talk from politicians about preparing young people for work. Yet there is no strategy for young people to enter such a vital industry, therefore how will they achieve greatness within it?
